The dog attack, which involved a pit bull mix and boxer bull mastiff, occurred after a the dangerous dogs escaped from their fenced in area according to DeKalb spokesman Michael Payne. Although it is still uncertain how the dogs escaped at this time, DeKalb police hope to uncover the mystery after further investigating the tragic situation. No charges have been filed at this time.
